2025 NCAA DIII WOMENS GOLF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

For the 3rd year in a row, my younger daughter Becky competed in the 2025 NCAA DIII Womens Golf National Championship which was held this year at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, VA. Becky was again selected as one of the 6 individual golfers to compete along with 34 teams who won their respective conference championship.

As with previous year’s championships, rain played a large role and delayed play on each of the first two days. Becky posted scores of 77 and 73 on the par 72 River (designed by Hoosier golf course design legend Pete Dye) and Plantation courses (designed by Arnold Palmer). Unfortunately, that fell just 1 stroke short of making the cut to play on the final two days of the championship. Becky was T24 at that point in the championship.

To somewhat soften the blow of not making the cut, Becky was awarded WGCA Division 3 All-American First Team status, WGCA Division 3 Great Lakes All-Region Team,  her 2nd consecutive NCAC Player of the Year award, along with being named to the 2025 All-NCAC Women’s Golf First Team.
