For our Alaska vacation, we departed from Vancouver, BC on a cruise up the “Inside Passage” to Whittier, AK. We had a day in Vancouver to do whatever we wanted and decided to stop by the Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park. The conservatory features over 500 different plant species along with assorted birds and koi. The park sits on the highest point in Vancouver and offers views of the city and harbor below; unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and rainy while we were there and not conducive to outdoor photography.
