My youngest daughter, Becky, has been an avid golfer for some time now (you can see more photos of her golfing in the following galleries: Otterbein University Womens Golf Fall 2022, 2021 IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals, Summer of 2021 Golf, 2018 IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals, South Carolina and Kiawah Island). She attended Otterbein University this past year and played in the #1 spot on their women’s golf team.
She capped a successful freshman year of DIII college golf by helping her team claim the Ohio Athletic Conference Womens Golf conference title earlier this spring. Winning the conference title earned Otterbein a bid to the NCAA DIII Womens Golf National Championship held at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. While Otterbein fell short of advancing to the final round of the championship, Becky qualified to play as an individual golfer. She put together three solid rounds of 79, 82, 79 on the par 73 El Campeon course to finish T29 out of 87 golfers.
