The Jekyll Island Invitational is a NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Tournament hosted by Ogelthorpe University and held at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. For 2026, twenty-four teams were invited and, of those, twenty-two were ranked in the top 50 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf programs in the country. The tournament was played on the “Great Dunes” course which was originally opened in 1927.
The DePauw University Women’s Golf team finished in 16th place just three strokes behind their conference nemesis Denison University. My younger daughter, Becky, finished T10 with a 3-round total of 228 (77-74-77) out of a total of 120 golfers. Becky led the field with 40 pars over the 3 rounds and is currently ranked as the 17th best NCAA Division III Women’s Golfer in the country.
